Madarin Oriental Costa Novarino SPA

The Aquaform collections used in this project

Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino: Topographic Integration and Water Purism

Developed along the natural slopes of Messenia, the resort adopts pioneering underground architecture, where green roofs merge with the rural topography of the Peloponnese. The design embraces a material minimalism based on local stone, brushed wood and zenithal openings that capture the Greek light, removing every visual barrier toward Navarino Bay.

The SPA reflects this tectonic approach, carved into the rock to enhance the sense of protection and mineral isolation. The hydrothermal journey abandons classical monumentality in favor of a fluid and intimate transition between environments with differentiated temperatures.

Here, water is not an ornamental element, but a controlled tectonic force carving paths of physical regeneration through silence and shadow.

Sensus System: Neurosensory Automation and the Architecture of Water

At Mandarin Oriental, Aquaform technology takes shape through Sensus, a collection conceived to translate hydrodynamic stimuli into coded neurobiological responses. Sensus moves beyond the concept of a linear emotional journey, offering a modular hydrothermal station where users interact with customizable wellness algorithms.

Aquaform hardware disappears within the stone surfaces, leaving visible only purified flows: microscopic particles of high pressure atomized water alternate with cinematic tropical downpours and cellular massage effects generated by subsurface pulsating jets. The system synchronizes in real time biodynamic spectrum chromotherapy and molecular olfactory emissions, calibrated to stabilize the autonomic nervous system.

With Sensus, Aquaform hydrotherapy reaches its highest synthesis between technological invisibility and therapeutic effectiveness.
