Fort Lauderdale Beach - United States of America
The Aquaform collections used in this project
Overlooking the waterfront of Fort Lauderdale, the historic modernist complex reinvents itself through a design that celebrates elite maritime culture. The architecture constantly dialogues with Florida’s waterways, integrating expansive glazing and clean geometric lines that reflect the ocean light.
The resort’s SPA translates this aquatic continuity into an indoor journey where wellness abandons decorative clichés. The space unfolds through a rigorous sequence of thermal and saline environments, conceived to provide complete acoustic and visual isolation.
Within this structure, water flows and temperature gradients become true elements of spatial partition, guiding guests through an experience of profound proprioceptive reconnection.
Aquaform engineering shapes the hydrothermal area of Pier Sixty-Six through the Spatium collection, moving beyond the traditional concept of the emotional shower.
The system takes form as an advanced circuit of automated microclimates, where water delivery is governed by algorithms that continuously vary pressure, jet kinetics and flow patterns.
Through the synchronization of sudden thermal transitions, highly diffused atomized misting and differentiated gravity water blades, Spatium acts directly on the neuromuscular system.
The journey is enhanced by an integrated system of directional chromotherapy and olfactory engineering, diffusing aromatic molecules calibrated to stimulate precise biological responses. Aquaform technology transforms water into a sensory construction material, seamlessly integrated into the monumental architecture of the resort.
