A Rete Club

The Aquaform collections used in this project

A design and wellness retreat in the green heart of Lombardy

Developed over an 8,500 square metre area in Guanzate, A-Rete Club is an exclusive complex designed to merge sport, social interaction and psychophysical regeneration. The architectural project of the Club House, designed by Architeca, has been conceived to blend seamlessly with the surrounding woodland landscape. Through clean geometries, large glazed surfaces that dissolve the boundary between inside and outside, and a colour palette inspired by tree bark, the structure welcomes members into an atmosphere of refined calm.
The true hidden gem of the club lies underground: a reserved SPA, conceived as a silent and protective shell, shielded from external noise. Here, wellness design reaches its highest expression through the combination of extreme cold therapy (a cryo chamber at -85°C) and cutting edge hydrotherapy by Aquaform, integrated to accelerate sports recovery and deliver a profound sensory regeneration experience.

The design challenge and the Aquaform solution

SENSUS: thermal and emotional transition

As a complement to sauna heat or post training sessions, the Sensus emotional shower introduces a gentle yet profound thermal contrast.

  • Mist and aromas: the water flow transforms into an impalpable cloud of cold micro nebulization, enriched with the regenerating essence of wild mint.
  • Sensory synergy: the body gradually cools under a luminous LED sky with synchronized chromotherapy, while soothing sound frequencies help restore thermal balance and calm the heart rate.

2. AQUAMOTUS: horizontal hydrotherapy for muscle recovery

A true technological icon of the SPA, the Aquamotus horizontal shower reinterprets traditional hydrotherapy massages, such as Vichy style treatments, in a contemporary key.

  • Weightless relaxation: lying on an ergonomic stainless steel lounger, guests experience full spinal decompression and an immediate release of muscular tension.
  • Programmed water massage: an overhead bar equipped with adjustable atomizers and solenoid valves generates a dynamic sequence of flows, from intense rainfall to warm mist, stimulating circulation and relieving post workout muscle soreness.
  • Therapeutic flexibility: the treatment can be experienced independently through automated touch screen programs, or enhanced with the personalised manual expertise of a SPA operator for a deeper four hands massage experience.
